Research Interests

 Shock consolidation of nano-sized or fine-grain powders for fabrication of bulk composites with extraordinary properties.
 Fabrication, characterization and evaluation of structural energetic materials (based on intermetallics).
 Fabrication of multilayer composites, laminates and transition joints by explosive welding.
 Probing pressure-volume compressibility characteristics of metallic powders under various conditions, and development of the equation for predicting the Hugoniot of preheated powders in full pressure range (>1GPa).
