Academic Achievements

As the principal investigator, Qiang Huang has developed five generation humanoid robots (From BHR-1 to BHR-5), which performed the full-sized humanoid robots walking and conducting tasks without external electrical cables in China, and also performed the table tennis rally autonomously, demonstrating the high perception and rapid motion capability. These robots were selected as the landmark achievements in the “National High-Tech Region 20 Anniversary of exhibition. ” In the recent five years, Prof. Huang has published more than 100 journal and conference papers , Such as the IEEE Transaction on Mechatronics. More than 20 of these papers were catalogued by SCI, He received Best Paper Finalist rewards for 5 times, He has more than 30 granted patents. He also received the first prize of Technological Invention Award which granted by MOE of China.1.
